Contact records are sets of contact information that are published in the public Whois directory. When you create your Dynadot account, your account information is initially used to generate your default Whois contact record. After this initial setup, your contact record becomes independent of your account information and must be managed separately.
Please note: Updating your account details does not automatically update your Whois contact record.

If you prefer not to have your contact details publicly displayed in the Whois directory, domain privacy is automatically enabled for eligible domains at the time of registration. You may choose to disable this setting, or it may be unavailable for certain top-level domains (TLDs) based on registry rules.
