What is Registry Expired Auction?
Updated: 2026/06/02Viewed times: 26057
Our Registry Expired Auctions are a great way to find valuable domains that already come with built-in value. These domains often carry existing history, backlinks, and search engine presence, making them more attractive than brand-new registrations.
How It Works:Our registry partners supply domains for auction directly on our platform, with fresh names added every day. Each auction follows a simple process: if a bid comes in within the final 5 minutes, the auction automatically extends for another 5 minutes, ensuring everyone gets a fair shot. Once the auction closes, the highest bidder wins, and the domain is transferred to their Dynadot account after successful payment.
Requirements to Participate:
- A Dynadot account
- At least $5 in account balance (or a $5 purchase in the past year)
- You must not be banned from our auctions.
- If your bid is $2,000 or more, a deposit of 10% of the bid amount is required. Ensure your account balance can cover this fee, which will be locked until you are outbid or the order is paid. If you win the auction and choose not to pay for the order, the deposit will be forfeited as a non-payment fee.
Available TLDs:
Our Registry Expired Auctions feature a diverse selection of domains, including .icu, .bond, .rest, .art, .buzz, .ke, .co.ke, .love, .it.com, .bar, .forum, .feedback, .realty, and more.
Automatic Countdown Refresh
The bidding details page automatically refreshes based on the remaining auction time:
- If the auction end time is more than 5 minutes away, the page refreshes once every 1 minute.
- If the auction end time is 5 minutes or less away, the page refreshes once every 15 seconds.
Highest Bidder Status Indicator
The bidding details page displays whether the currently logged-in user is the highest bidder.
- If you are currently leading the auction, the page will indicate that you are the highest bidder.
- If another user has placed a higher bid, the page will indicate that you are not the highest bidder.
